Geelong United has announced the re-signing of both head coaches ahead of the NBL1 South 2026 season, with Megan Moody returning to lead the women’s program and Grant Wallace to continue guiding the men’s side.
Moody’s return follows a dominant 2025 campaign, where she guided Geelong United through an undefeated regular season and was recognised as NBL1 South Coach of the Year.
The women’s program emerged as one of the competition’s most disciplined and consistent teams, with Moody’s leadership central to shaping the group’s identity and standards. Her focus on development, structure, and accountability now provides Geelong with a strong platform heading into 2026.
On the men’s side, Wallace’s re-signing delivers experience and stability.
A respected leader with more than 25 years of coaching experience, Wallace has been instrumental in building Geelong United’s culture and competitive direction. His ability to drive player development while maintaining performance standards continues to underpin the program’s progress.
The NBL1 South 2026 season tips off on Friday 27th March 2026. For all the latest updates, including player signings, coaching appointments and league news, make sure you’re following NBL1 South on Facebook and Instagram.
